My journey into Kundalini yoga began four years ago, driven by a
profound desire to delve deeper into self-discovery and equip myself
with a transformative meditative practice that could serve as a
constant recalibration tool amidst life’s ever-changing currents.
Kundalini yoga, I soon discovered, not only provided me with these
tools but also unfolded a universe of spiritual enrichment beyond my
imagination.
As I immersed myself in the practice, a realization crystallized
within me: I wanted to venture even further into this sacred path and
become a Kundalini yoga teacher, dedicated to sharing its profound
teachings and wisdom with others. The key, I came to understand, lies
in proactively engaging in regular practice, nurturing a daily
sadhana—an intimate spiritual ritual. Through this daily commitment,
one can harness the intelligence of life force, nurture the meditative
mind, and cultivate qualities of compassion, kindness, love, and
blissfulness.
My journey with Kundalini yoga mirrors the growth of a humble sapling
into a resilient and flourishing tree. In its early years, life’s
storms buffeted the young sapling, testing its resilience and at
times, its very survival. Yet, it’s these very challenges that serve
to fortify our roots, provided we were firmly planted. This truth
extends to all endeavors in life.
Over time, my tree bore fruits—knowledge gained through learning,
practice, and teaching; wisdom shared through transmissions of
Kundalini yoga. People, like curious travelers, approach the tree to
sample its fruits (Kundalini). Some savor the experience and move on
in search of other trees (teachers), while others choose to return
regularly, witnessing the maturation of the fruits. A few may even
decide to relocate their lives closer to the tree, integrating it into
their daily existence.
In the grand tapestry of existence, sharing a common ethos signifies a
resonance of souls, transcending differences in worldviews and
cultural customs. It’s through this shared ethos that we find harmonic
attunement.
Within this analogy, my aspiration is for my tree to bear fruits for
all beings and to scatter seeds of wisdom, nurturing others to bloom
and flourish in their unique journeys.
Within the vast fabric of existence, embracing a shared ethos represents a connection of spirits that goes beyond diverse perspectives and cultural traditions. It is through this mutual ethos that we discover a harmonious alignment.
